Job description

Responsible for all corporate and family office insurance requirements: Corporate, Personal, Homeowners, Auto, Marine, Aviation and Liability. Must work independently and proactively with managing all aspects of account management and servicing, handling all insurance questions, requests, and coverage reviews. Responsible for quoting with various carriers, brokers and agents, including application preparation, and underwriting for both new and renewal submissions.
  • Analyze and compare quotes for proper coverage, terms and conditions in order to present the best coverage solutions.
  • Understand the impact of current market trends, increased cost of materials, reconstruction costs and the impact felt on renewal premiums as a result of inflation.
  • Execute policy issuance, obtain pertinent signed applications and follow ups.
  • Process incoming mail, faxes, emails, and underwriting requests.
  • Request policy change requests, issue Evidence of Insurance, ID Cards/Binders and the like.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with company and family partners to ensure the proper insurance is in place.
  • Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance as needed.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle all aspects of Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance (including E&S Policies, NFIP Flood, Private Market Flood).
  • Participate in any special projects at management's request.
  • Provide an extraordinary level of customer service.
  • Must have strong written, oral and phone communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.

Requirements:
  • Must execute exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Be able to set, maintain, and execute priorities while comfortably multitasking in a very fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines for providing replacement coverage, alternate quotes, conducting renewal reviews and inquiries.
  • Comfortable with working under limited supervision, taking ownership of tasks as they arise, as well as supporting a collaborative team environment.
  • Be driven, enthusiastic and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillset.
  • Possess outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • 5+ years of Personal Lines experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required.
