ResponsibilitiesResponsible for gathering, analyzing and managing risk management data, and preparing reports to management and outside agencies as required. Participates in the review, investigation and evaluation of actual and potential claims. Serves as a resource to staff and management by participating in committee meetings and safety initiatives. Responsible for risk management activities including administering the risk management program on a day-to-day basis, and conducting risk management education. Participates in formulating policy and/or organizational changes, but must seek advice and approval from higher authority.Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, or related field Required

Work Experience

  • 5 years of experience in a hospital or other healthcare setting Required
  • Professional and general liability experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure If RN, current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License Required
