Job description
Within our Corporate Enterprise Risk Management team in Denver, Leprino is seeking a Senior Risk & Insurance Analyst - Commercial Property & Casualty to help manage and strengthen the commercial insurance programs that protect our people, facilities, products, and operations. This role will play a key part in our annual insurance renewals, coordinate insurance exposure information across the business, support claims and program administration, and partner closely with our brokers and internal teams to help Leprino effectively manage risk.
At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $85,000 and $95,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.
What You'll Do:
- Play a key role in Leprino's annual commercial insurance renewal process, coordinating timelines, gathering exposure information, preparing submissions, and working closely with insurance brokers to keep renewals on track.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Supply Chain, Legal, and other teams to collect and validate the financial and operational information needed to support insurance renewals and coverage decisions.
- Maintain and analyze insurance exposure information, policies, schedules, and program documentation to support accurate reporting and effective risk management.
- Support the administration of Leprino's commercial property and casualty insurance programs, including workers' compensation, property, casualty, marine cargo, and other business insurance coverage.
- Coordinate with brokers, carriers, third-party administrators, and internal partners on insurance claims and other coverage matters.
- Review contracts and insurance requirements while partnering with Legal and Procurement to support appropriate contractual risk transfer.
- Coordinate Certificates of Insurance and other insurance documentation required by customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Support self-insured program reporting, regulatory filings, and related compliance activities.
- Support insurance budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting while helping ensure key program deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide insurance analysis and recommendations to leadership and communicate complex insurance matters clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
- Contribute to Enterprise Risk Management initiatives and special projects, including opportunities to evaluate and improve the technology used to manage Leprino's insurance programs.
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of professional experience that includes commercial insurance, gained within corporate insurance/risk management, a commercial insurance brokerage, an insurance carrier, or a similar environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting commercial insurance renewals, insurance programs, policies, coverage, exposure information, or related insurance activities.
- Experience working with insurance brokers, carriers, commercial clients, or other stakeholders to address insurance needs and issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate insurance information and recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional partners.
- The ability to travel approximately 3-4 times per year.
Candidates please note: Personal-lines insurance experience alone, including the sale or servicing of individual auto, home, renters, or life insurance policies, does not meet the experience requirements for this position.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with commercial property and casualty insurance, including workers' compensation, property, casualty, or marine cargo coverage.
- Experience supporting self-insured programs or working with third-party administrators.
- Experience reviewing contractual insurance requirements or supporting Certificates of Insurance.
- Experience with SAP, Ebix, or other insurance/risk management systems.
- Experience working in a large corporate, manufacturing, or multi-site environment.
- A professional designation such as CPCU, ARM, or a comparable insurance or risk management certification.

We've grown a bit since then. Today, Leprino is the world's largest manufacturer of mozzarella and lactose, and a leading producer of whey protein. Still owned by the Leprino family, our sights are set to be the "World's Best Dairy Food and Ingredient Company." From a small corner grocery store we have grown to over 5,500 employees throughout the globe. Will you join us on our journey?
