What is an insurance retention agent?

Insurance Retention Agents are professionals who work for insurance companies or agencies with the primary goal of retaining existing clients. They reach out to policyholders whose policies are up for renewal or at risk of cancellation, addressing concerns, answering questions, and offering solutions to keep their business.
