Lead Mitigation Technicians:


  • Report to the Mitigation Project Manager, attend daily meetings to determine the daily schedule, and complete assignments for the day

  • Are responsible on the job site for demolition, setting drying equipment, and other assigned tasks

  • Direct laborers in their daily tasks and document their hours worked to ensure they get paid

  • Notify the Superintendent when all tasks on scope are complete for payment processing

  • Stock work vehicles to ensure laborers are supplied for daily tasks

  • Maintain a neat, clean job site following all OSHA requirements and Apex policies and procedures

Accountabilities


  • Skilled in communication, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, and cost management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, anticipating, preventing, and solving challenges

  • Utilize document management software

  • Actively practice leadership ability

  • Learn, implement, and maintain an understanding of mitigation operations and procedures

  • Foster positive relationships with team members and clients, answering questions and resolving issues

  • Clean and inspect company vehicles weekly

  • Willing to work 48+ hours per week when needed

  • Be on call on rotation and during catastrophic events


Qualifications


  • Experience in mitigation, demo, setting machines and containments

  • Knowledge of insurance claim procedures, standards, and guidelines is a plus

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds

  • Ability to enter confined spaces and climb ladders

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance

  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the United States

  • Pass a background check and drug screening

  • No felony convictions


Compensation

  • Work order paid, potential to earn $45 an hour plus

  • After-hours bonus per job
