We're looking for a driven Project Manager with strong leadership skills to guide teams, deliver results, and help us fulfill major infrastructure contracts across the Pacific Northwest. What You'll Do

As a Project Manager at Liberty, you'll oversee projects from planning to closeout-ensuring field crews, subcontractors, and clients all move in sync. You'll not just manage projects-you'll build and lead successful teams that bring them to life.

  • Project Planning & Setup

    • Review and interpret contracts, specifications, estimates, and plans.

    • Develop project budgets, cost codes, and billing schedules.

    • Determine and order required materials, equipment, and manpower.

  • Leadership & Team Building

    • Lead and motivate project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality work.

    • Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable to Liberty's standards of performance.

    • Foster collaboration between office staff, field crews, and subcontractors.

  • Execution & Oversight

    • Coordinate with foremen to build and update look-ahead schedules.

    • Monitor costs, code expenditures, and prepare financial projections.

    • Manage subcontractors-negotiate scope, price, schedule, and oversee progress.

  • Documentation & Communication

    • Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, PIPs, and project documentation.

    • Communicate daily with field crews on schedules, reports, and change orders.

    • Issue notices of delays or impacts (weather, trades, scheduling).

    • Represent Liberty's interests in all negotiations and client interactions.

  • Problem Solving & Change Management

    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in design or contract requirements.

    • Price and negotiate forward change orders with owners.

    • Ensure revised submittals, materials, and resources are in place for added work.


What We're Looking For
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction management (electrical/public works experience preferred).

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Construction Management degree or equivalent experience strongly valued.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and lead high-performing teams.

  • Skills:

    • Strong financial and analytical skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with COINS or similar systems.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication.

    • Ability to prioritize, manage time, and work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical decision-making, and professional integrity.
