Job Summary

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and company standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
  • Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Procure subcontractors and materials; negotiate contracts and change orders
  • Monitor project progress and quality to ensure compliance with design, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve issues promptly and effectively
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices, pay applications, and project costs
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping throughout the project
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Anchor Construction's quality standards


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling techniques
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
