On-Site in Phoenix, AZ OR Remote | Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm

In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between customers, vendors, and internal manufacturing teams to manage digital manufacturing projects from quote to delivery. You will collaborate closely with vendors to understand project requirements, provide manufacturing guidance, coordinate production activities, and ensure successful project execution across services such as 3D Printing, CNC Machining, Injection Molding, and related manufacturing solutions. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THE PROJECT MANAGER ROLE

  • Review customer technical requirements, including quality, process, and regulatory standards, ensuring all project requirements are clearly communicated to production teams and vendors

  • Collaborate with vendors to understand manufacturing requirements and provide guidance on production solutions including 3D Printing, CNC Machining, Injection Molding, and related services

  • Generate accurate project quotes while considering design for manufacturability principles

  • Utilize internal systems and tools to communicate project updates, changes, and timelines with vendors and internal teams

  • Manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products

  • Identify potential manufacturing issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve them proactively

  • Foster strong vendor relationships through effective communication and problem-solving

  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to develop manufacturing process plans

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and vendors to secure additive and traditional manufacturing opportunities

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle

  • Continuously learn and adapt to emerging manufacturing technologies and industry trends

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS PROJECT MANAGER ROLE
Required Qualifications:

  • Strong project management, organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities

A3D Manufacturing has determined that compensation for this role is between $60K and $70K per year and will be based on knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Since we appreciate transparency, we are sharing that we expect to hire for this position towards the middle of this range (dependent on experience/location), which will allow you the opportunity to progress as you grow in your career. In addition to this salary rate, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including generous paid time off, paid parental leave, company 401(k) match, and community service leave.
