Job description

Description Summary: With minimal guidance, and in accordance with HBI project methodology, provides leadership that promotes and supports the development, implementation, and completion of small to medium size projects. Projects are typically characterized as having low to medium visibility and risk. Works with business unit manager(s) and project sponsor to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget, and schedule.

Manages projects on an on-going basis to identify risks, implement changes, monitor and communicate progress. Ensures team members are managed effectively and kept informed of all related issues. Ensures project deliverables meet customer needs.

Coordinates and supports the bank segment referral activity with executive management team of Huntington Insurance as well as other assigned business segment goals by providing project management services. Provides project support, monitors and provides updates to project members, analyzes existing business processes and systems, and documents operational procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead continuous improvement initiatives with significant impact on insurance processes Perform analysis of complex insurance processes to identify optimization opportunities Collaborate with stakeholders to drive changes aligned with business strategies Develop a deep understanding of business processes, dependencies, and impacts Lead and manage teams in identifying and implementing process improvements Share best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization Monitor project progress, adjust plans as necessary, and deliver projects on time Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies Provide training and support to staff on new processes and improvements Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications: 5 years' experience in insurance and/or project management Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years in insurance-related roles Project management certification from an accredited institution Proficiency in MS Suite Highly organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Able to deal with ambiguity and navigate complex situations #LI-NG1 #LI-Onsite Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
