Job Summary
Faculty and instructors are responsible for curriculum, teaching, service, scholarship, and related administrative activities that support the mission, vision, and values of the university.
The Plaster College of Business at Lindenwood University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Management.
Qualified applicants will possess a terminal degree in business or management with specialization in operations, supply chain management, project management, or analytics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 4 courses (3 credit hours) each semester. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online. All Lindenwood faculty members are expected to advise and mentor students, continue to develop their expertise through research and scholarship, and participate in faculty governance and campus life.
The Assistant Professor of Management is a full-time, 9-month faculty position that will begin Fall 2026. Review of applications will begin April 2026 and will continue until filled.
The Assistant Professor of Management must have proficiency in business analytics, project management, operations management, or supply chain management, plus a terminal degree in management/business/systems engineering/business analytics/supply chain management. Applicants with substantial graduate coursework in one or more of the aforementioned disciplines, with progress toward a terminal degree, will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with a record of teaching and service excellence and a demonstrated ability to teach a wide range of undergraduate and graduate business courses. This position will include academic advising, program/course design, and student mentoring.
