Job Description:
This position provides customs brokerage expertise for geographically aligned customs brokerage accounts. The incumbent collaborates with other teams to maintain communication with key clients and ensures operational execution of customer requirements. This position identifies ways to improve service and implements continuous improvement projects. The incumbent leverages detailed knowledge of the customs brokerage and clearance process and engages others to maintain and grow customs brokerage revenue. This position facilitates activities (e.g., brainstorming sessions, implementation of corrective action plans, etc.) to reduce churn and identify opportunities to expand customer relationships.
Responsibilities
• Supports Primary Sales / Operations with customs brokerage customer accounts, revenue retention, and churn reduction to maintain revenue levels
• Provides customs brokerage product expertise and input during solution development, contract negotiation, statement of work, and pricing agreement to maintain competitiveness and profitability
• Participates in customer meetings and quarterly business reviews to provide leadership and strategic vision as related to customs brokerage impact on long-term partnerships
• Ensures standard operating procedures and key performance indicators are managed effectively to meet UPS goals and to ensure customer satisfaction
• Advises customers on supply chain improvement opportunities and works collaboratively with other teams to develop solutions which reinforce the UPS value-added proposition
• Assists others to ensure UPS meets client customs brokerage performance goals and expectations while minimizing negative impacts to other departments
• Gathers and shares customs brokerage customer service best practices
• Reviews customs brokerage service standards with customers to reach agreement on service levels and to retain business and manage organic growth
• Provides excellent customs brokerage service to increase customer satisfaction
• Coordinates with other teams to conduct business and customer review meetings
Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $97,320/year in our lowest geographic market up to $180,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
