At Homeowners of America (HOA), a Porch Group company, we are building a best-in-class insurance product organization - and we need a driven, analytically sharp Product Manager to help lead that charge. In this role, you will own profitable growth across your assigned markets, steering new product and pricing initiatives from concept through state and national implementation. You will serve as a critical connector across underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and operations, ensuring our products remain competitive, compliant, and customer-centered. If you thrive at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution in a fast-moving insurance environment, this is your opportunity to shape how millions of homeowners protect what matters most.

What You Will Do As A Insurance Product Manager
  • Ensure the successful implementation of new product, pricing, and underwriting actions at a state and national level.
  • Maintain loss ratio discipline and risk tolerance while achieving profitable growth in assigned markets; ensure forecasts and business objectives account for current and likely market conditions.
  • Manage catastrophe risk and concentration risk effectively as the business pursues growth objectives.
  • Analyze key competitors and their strategies; share insights across the organization to develop effective market initiatives and build out competitive intelligence tools.
  • Regularly report on product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results; recommend KPIs and metrics to improve performance tracking.
  • Ensure all products meet customer needs and expectations; incorporate customer feedback into product development and improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with underwriting, marketing, sales, IT, and operations teams to deliver cohesive and effective product initiatives.
  • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Identify and develop cross-functional process improvements that enhance both efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Will Bring As A Insurance Product Manager
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in product management, actuarial, finance, or related roles within the insurance industry; minimum 5+ years in homeowners insurance required.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of personal lines insurance and reinsurance, including trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams toward common goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency using data to drive strategic decisions.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member

Pay Range*: $138,800 - $194,300 annually

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.

Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
