Job Summaryย 

This internship offers a hands-on experience in product developmentย within Wipfli's IP Product Engineering group. Interns will support the development and customization of Wipfli's Concur product, gaining exposure to the full software lifecycle-from understanding product architecture to client implementation and support.ย 

Responsibilities

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Assist in the development of software applications, including writing and testing codeย 
  • Work closely with experienced developers and participate in team meetingsย 
  • Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities within software & connectorsย 
  • Software configuration and development, leveraging leading edge technologyย 
  • Comment code regarding functional purpose and design nuancesย 
  • Assist the team in R&D and foundational efforts to position the team to deliver innovative solutions to the clientย 
  • Assist in managing project timelines and deliverablesย 
  • Suggest and implement improvements to existing processes and workflowsย 
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from senior mentors to enhance professional and technical skillsย 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications:ย 

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related major focus.ย ย 
  • Strong academic performance, 3.0 GPA minimum within your major courseworkย 
  • Experience with .NET, python, Javascript preferredย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย 
  • Strong propensity for innovative thinking balanced with the disciplined rigor for following proven methodologiesย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.ย ย 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.ย ย 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.ย ย 
  • Ability to build and foster professional business relationshipsย ย 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)ย

This role requires a hybrid work arrangement.ย  At Wipfli, hyrbid work is defined as associates regularly working 2-3 days a week in a Wipfli office or at client sites.ย  The client sites can vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on the industry alignment. Scheduled meetings at the client and in the office require in-person attendance.
