Responsibilities

Operations Manager Ideal Candidate Profile

QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive, and well-organized full-time Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the manufacturing operation. This position could also manage other departments such as maintenance and scheduling based on the Operating Company structure. This position will be responsible for consistently meeting production schedules and customer commitments while following customer specifications. This position will be based in our Bloomington, MN facility.

Operations Manager Job Summary

  • Coach, develop, and mentor Supervisors on leadership skills to develop high performing teams
  • Set and communicate production goals and objectives to achieve or exceed the strategic operating plan
  • Provide a high level of technical expertise to support strategic growth objectives
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators
  • Increase the company's core manufacturing capabilities
  • Conduct tier meetings, monitor metrics, and initiate corrective action plans
  • Troubleshoot problem areas, proactively and drive accountability
  • Promote the Operational Excellence Program and drive continuous improvement and accountability throughout the operation
  • Create an open-door environment for employee questions and concerns
  • Ensure all personnel are properly trained and performance goals and stretch assignments are communicated
  • Partner with the Operational Excellence team on Kaizen events, 5(S), and process improvement initiatives
  • Partner with Quality on the Quality Management System Compliance activities, and best practices for quality adherence
  • Partner with Human Resources on talent management and employee engagement activities
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Partner with other business segments:Β  sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, and finance to meet company goals
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve

Pay RangeUSD $112,000.00 - USD $168,000.00 /Yr.Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
