Job description

Office Manager
Department: Gitwit
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Tulsa, OK
Description
Keep the Studio Humming from Welcome to Wi-Fi.
At Gitwit, we build, launch, and grow startups from scratch. Our downtown Tulsa studio is home to our core team, founding venture teams, and investors who swing through every week.
We're on the hunt for an Office Manager who can keep the studio running smoothly. This is a highly visible, hands-on role based at the front desk, with ownership across office operations, hospitality, facilities, workplace technology, and vendor coordination.
You'll be the first point of contact for guests, the person our team relies on when something in the office needs attention, and the steady hand behind the systems and routines that keep everything moving.
Create a welcoming, well-run workplace where people can do their best work, guests feel cared for, and everyday office needs are handled before they become distractions.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Lead front desk and hospitality - Welcome guests, manage visitor access, receive mail and deliveries, route office questions, and make sure the studio feels thoughtful, organized, and ready for the day.
  • Own office operations - Oversee supplies, conference rooms, kitchens and shared spaces, janitorial and maintenance vendors, building access, parking, inventory, and day-to-day facilities needs.
  • Coordinate meetings, food, and events - Support team lunches, important meetings, investor visits, internal gatherings, and occasional offsites by coordinating rooms, catering, vendors, supplies, and day-of logistics.
  • Support workplace technology and access - Serve as the first point of contact for common issues involving Wi-Fi, conference rooms, Zoom Rooms, devices, accounts, and door access. Resolve basic issues and coordinate with outside support when deeper technical help is needed.
  • Maintain clear playbooks - Keep office, hospitality, and workplace systems documented so responsibilities are easy to manage, repeat, and improve over time.
What We're Looking For:
  • You've managed an office, workplace, front desk, or hospitality environment and genuinely enjoy being the person who keeps things moving.
  • You're comfortable handling a wide mix of responsibilities, from welcoming a guest to solving an office issue or coordinating a vendor.
  • You're organized, dependable, and strong at following through without needing constant direction.
  • You can confidently troubleshoot common workplace technology issues and know when to escalate something to an expert.
  • You anticipate needs before they arise and jump in to solve problems quickly.
  • You take pride in the details that shape how a workplace looks, feels, and functions.
Extra Awesome If You:
  • Have event planning and team travel experience booking flights, hotels, and itineraries.
  • Have worked in a startup or professional services environment.
  • Have experience with Google Workspace, Zoom Rooms, office access systems, or workplace technology.
Why You'll Love This Role:
  • You'll have meaningful ownership over how the studio runs and how people experience it.
  • You'll have the autonomy to improve systems, solve problems, and make the office better over time.
  • You'll be the heartbeat of the studio, connected to everyone and everything.
  • You'll shape not only how our office runs, but how it feels.
  • You'll join a low-ego, high-performing crew that values creativity, connection, and fun.
  • Competitive salary
  • 8 weeks off per year: 5 weeks vacation + 3 weeks paid holidays
  • Excellent health, vision, and dental insurance, with 99% of the employee premiums paid by us
  • 401k with 4% match
  • Life insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Cell phone reimbursement of $100 per month
  • Monthly parking stipend of $50 per month to cover parking garage expenses
  • Weekly team lunches
  • Dog-friendly work environment
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Casual work attire
  • High-trust, high-autonomy culture
  • Close collaboration in a collaborative workspace at one of the coolest office buildings in Tulsa
