Relational Excellence, LLC is seeking a Medical Director that is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Medical Doctor. This position requires providing independent direct outpatient consultation in the specialty area of Psychiatry with some addiction knowledge. It also includes the administration, coordination, and oversight of behavioral health services delivered.

HOURS: Approx 24 hours per week (Flexible schedule)

Relational Excellence, LLC is seeking a Medical Director. The responsibilities include:


  • Maintain timely, complete, accurate medical records for all patients evaluated and treated via Electronic Medical Records

  • Initial History and Initial Assessments including complete Psychiatric and Medical History, intermittent medical assessments as warranted

  • Provide services to clients in the forms of psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric consultations, treatment planning, medication administration/adjustments, mental status assessments, supportive therapy, and/or crisis intervention.
  • Prescribe and/or direct psychotherapeutic treatments or medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Monitor the effects of psychotropic medications on clients.
  • Revises/updates plan of care based on patient progress or lack thereof
  • Oversee clinical services and is on-site or providing clinical oversight via HIPAA-compliant telehealth services

EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be licensed as an active and good-standing CRNP-PMH/ PMHNP in the State of Maryland or other state(s) where practicing
  • Active NPI
  • Malpractice Insurance
  • At least 1 year of experience
