Insurance Sales Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Location: Calgary, Alberta
Type: Full Time, Permanent

Career Position Overview:

Seeking a successful Licensed Insurance Team member with experience selling to the consumer insurance market. This TM is successful due to their passion, enthusiasm and convincing skills that result in closing the sale and excellent customer. This FT position focuses on sales and service of Auto, Home & Business Insurance to existing and new customers. Existing clients call to add or replace autos and homes. We receive many referrals from clients and Google Ads and you will receive warm leads for commercial insurance. You will be trained and work in a supportive and successful team environment and successful sales process. We offer an opportunity to develop, learn, grow, get to know and protect our clients.

  • We offer competitive base salary compensation, paid vacation, excellent commissions and annual Bonus. The range of annual compensation is $60,000-$80,000

Duties:

  • Sell and service Auto, Home, Tenant, Business Insurance etc to new and existing
  • Pivot existing clients to personal insurance protection such as Life, & Critical Illness by scheduling appointments for Life licensed TM’s
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes.

Requirements:

  • Must be fully licensed with Level 1 License prior to start date
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas to consumers
  • Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good credit with no outstanding collections
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
  • Experience and Dedication to customer service
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Job Type: Full-time from Office near Chinook Mall
  • Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm. Closed all Stat holidays
