Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Representative/Agent:

4-40 Insurance License is required

At least 1 year of sales or client-facing experience is highly preferred

Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

Strong attention to detail

Excellent analytical skills

Must be computer literate, tech savvy

Works well in a fast paced environment

Must be able to multitask

Very strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Representative/Agent:

Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established and cross sell to expand portfolio
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • There is some light customer service work on existing policies as back up to the customer service team

Requirements
  • Must be a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent with at least 2years of solid insurance sales experience.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified time frame.
  • Successful sales background.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
