This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to operate from your own space while engaging with clients and team members through telehealth platforms. You will be using advanced electronic health record systems, specifically the AWARDS system, ensuring your interactions are efficiently documented and managed. As a part of our detox center, you will be navigating a unique therapeutic setting that places a strong emphasis on mental health and addiction recovery.

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions, applying evidence-based psychotherapy techniques tailored to client needs.
• Engage in the evaluation and performance support of interns, overseeing their caseloads and progress to ensure positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with Centralized Intake and other relevant contacts to monitor and address concerns regarding intern assignments.
• Conduct regular audits of documentation practices, ensuring compliance with agency policies and funding requirements.
• Document clinical encounters and treatment plans accurately within the AWARDS electronic health record system.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute recruitment events aimed at attracting qualified interns and trainees to enhance service delivery.
• Oversee the onboarding and training process for interns, ensuring they meet all documentation and compliance required by their educational institutions and state regulations.
• Provide immediate clinical consultation during crisis situations, leveraging your expertise to guide both clients and interns.
• Attend relevant program and agency meetings to stay informed about administrative and clinical developments.
• Organize and facilitate training workshops for interns to ensure they remain compliant with evolving healthcare policies.

The LCSW will primarily work with a diverse client base in a detox center environment, addressing the mental health and emotional needs of individuals undertaking detoxification from substance use. This role requires sensitivity and a nuanced understanding of the multifaceted challenges these clients face, including trauma, addiction, and social issues. You will play a critical role in fostering resilience and recovery within this vulnerable population.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Currently residing in the U.S. with a reliable internet connection for telehealth provision.

• Experience working with addiction recovery populations or in detox settings preferred.
• Prior experience supervising internships or mentoring new professionals is highly valued.
• Familiarity with AWARDS electronic health record system or equivalent documentation software is advantageous.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
