Job Description
GATA II - Global Anti-terrorism Training and Assistance Program is seeking a summer intern to assist and provide support to the Program. The Intern will assist with daily operations tasks, to include, coordinating the deployment of instructors and equipment in three different regions (Africa, Near East Asia and South-Central Asia,) data processing and entry, database management, reviewing Statements of Work, creating Purchase Requisitions, and corresponding with program management staff and vendors.
What You'll Do
Our vision is to create a secure and vibrant future by bringing advanced engineering and technology solutions to the most significant challenges in science, security and sustainability. As a Deployment Intern your responsibilities may include:
  • Assist with daily operations tasks, to include, Instructors deployment, data processing and entry, database management, reviewing Statements of Work,
  • Collaborate with program management staff and vendors to support Instructors deployment.
  • Assist with managing the Sharepoint Site Portal, GDMS, SCOPE, by compiling, uploading and updating documentation for the document libraries, calendars, forms/lists, announcements, reports, and dashboards.
  • Assist with processing and reconciling the company credit card purchase documentation

Qualifications
  • Current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, data/business analytics or related business fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Excellent written and communication skills.

Desired Skills & Expertise
  • Attention to detail and ability to independently handle multiple tasks with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly preferable that the intern lives within the DMV area.
  • This intern position will be primarily remote, with the option of attending approved in-person staff events, to include workshops and meetings.
