Job description

Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for Quality Inspector for Day shift to join our team. This position will perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment, or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
Location: Tulsa, OK 74116, USA
Safety Sensitive: Yes
What you'll do:
  • May inspect incoming materials, or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Perform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Proficiently utilizes inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  • Performs inspection of finished product - Follow all safety rules and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - What you'll need:
  • Prefer certification in 2 NDE inspection methods or ability to become certified.
  • Prefer qualified as Weld Inspection Specialist or the ability to become qualified within 90 days.
  • Prefer minimum of 2 years welding experience.
  • Prefer 1 year experience with ISO standards.
  • Ability to read, write & speak English.
  • Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture.

Working Conditions:
  • Hourly full-time position M-F 6AM - 4:30pm overtime often required (schedule subject to change based on business needs.).
  • Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate multiple shifts and frequent weekend shifts.
  • This position frequently requires work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.
  • Must be flexible with shift hours/Willingness to work either 1st or 2nd.
  • Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
