Job description

EverFab, Inc. is a leading precision manufacturer in East Aurora area for over 43 years. We are looking for reliable, talented, skilled individuals with good work ethics and the desire to learn. We are ISO9001:2015 & AS9100D certified and our facility consists of some of the most accurate machining and validation equipment available with a team of dedicated professionals.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Signing Bonus of $2,500.00

Objective: Understanding manufacturing processes and can interpret blueprints for CNC machined parts from Stainless Steel to exotic metals such as Titanium machined parts. Works with Machinists. Goal to have 100% quality with 100% on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

The ability to:

  • Inspect machined work pieces at inspection and or machining stations and Report finding.
  • Read blue prints and understand Geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD and T)
  • Knowledge of performing 1st piece inspection
  • Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and hand tools such as comparators, vision systems, micrometers, calipers, dial and pin gauges, precision gauge blocks to check size, concentricity, squareness, parallelism, surface imperfections, grinding finish, surface finish, burrs, etc.
  • Perform visual inspection to check for burrs, finishes, etc. using a Microscope.
  • Perform random inspections (and audits) on the manufacturing floor.
  • Perform First Article Inspections on Products.
  • Work with machine operators as partners to ensure quality parts.
  • Follow all safety and housekeeping rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform any other job-related duties per direction of supervisor or lead person.
  • Record required information, either in written or electronic form.
  • Accurately document non-conformances found during inspections.
  • Apply basic math skills.
  • Possess sufficient basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of CMM programming and PCDMIS a plus

Must have two (2) years inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
