What You Will Be Doing:

As a Quality Control Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the products produced by the Yancey Engineering Team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Inspect tanks and enclosures at different phases of production to verify compliance of build
  • Document phase inspections for each build
  • Inspect UL Tank builds at different phases of fabrication for UL 142 compliance
  • Scan and maintain filing of compliance documentation to job folders
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you will have prior experience with quality control inspections, strong accountability and initiative. This position also requires someone who has advanced problem solving skills, drive and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Capable of reading tape measurement and reading/interpreting YES shop drawings
  • Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, Power point
  • Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Quality control inspection experience
  • Electrical Experience preferred
