The Lead Implementation Specialist is a subject matter expert in one or more of FactSet's products, tasked with deploying FactSet's products bydelivering onhigh-value projects and engagements. The Lead Implementation Specialists should be able to independently implement many workflows. Lead Implementation Specialists arecontributingmembers of the department's leadership team and arelooked tofor decision making in their areas of expertise. In many cases, Lead Implementation Specialists are involved in the pre-sales solutioning process to ensure successful engagements. Lead Implementation Specialists should collaborate with and mentor junior members of the implementation specialist.

All work done by Implementation Specialists is project-based and may include implementations,solutionsoptimization, and other time and knowledge-intensive projects. Implementation Specialists may beutilizedon larger and more complex engagements and may serve as mentors for more junior members of the team.

Our Implementations team is an essential partner to our clients to support complex changes across their organizations, drive enterprise deployments of FactSet solutions, manage organizational restructures, and implement process improvements. We work with all core analytics tools, such as PA (Portfolio Analysis), SPAR (our returns-based Style, Performance, and Risk tool), Portfolio Vault & Insight, Portfolio Batcher, Publisher, Analytics APIs, to name a few. As our mandate continues to grow, we are looking for eager, exceptionally talented individuals to join our team!

What You'll Do

  • Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needs

  • Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in theindustry

  • Create user workflow specifications, custom report specifications,establishpriority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements

  • Identifygrowth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncoveringadditionalopportunityduring the implementation process

  • Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet's products

  • Provide user training and support the development of training programs

  • Produce client-facing communicationtofacilitatetransition from implementation phase to support

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

  • Bachelor/Masterdegree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline

  • At least 6 years of experience working with FactSet's Analytics tools

  • Strong knowledge of performance workflows

  • Strong technical background

  • Proven technicalproficiencyparticularly with writing complex screening codes

  • Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products

  • CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred

  • Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture

  • Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership

  • Willingness to travel

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.

The budgeted range for this position in New York City, Connecticut, and California is $120,000-$150,000.

The budgeted range for this position in Toronto is $120,000 - $160,000 CAD.
