OCES is growing! We are expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, etc. APPLY NOW during this exciting time!

OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy, safe living for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible.

We are seeking a dedicated, caring Housing Specialist professional who enjoys working in the community with our Housing team to ensure services and support to residents on-site in our South Shore area locations.

What you'll do:

  • Review the needs of residents to link the community programs and services
  • Serve as a multi-disciplinary assessment team leader and meet with the team to assure service coordination
  • Facilitate care conferences with residents, family, and other participants.
  • Plan and coordinate social, educational, and recreational programs for residents
  • Prepare and distribute a newsletter to keep residents informed of planned activities

What you'll bring:

  • Your passion for helping others and desire to make a difference.
  • Adaptability to be able to change as the needs of consumers and/or programs change
  • At least two years of experience in the human services field, preferably with the elder population
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bilingual a plus
