We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.
Summary
Mobis Parts Operations (MPO) Team is responsible for managing and optimizing the inland transportation network that moves Mobis Parts America's (MPA) inbound automotive parts containers from U.S. ports and rail ramps to 10 Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs) across the United States.
The team oversees multiple transportation modes, including drayage, rail/ Intermodal transportation, and transloading with team trucking, while coordinating closely with carriers, rail providers, ports, and PDCs to ensure reliable and timely delivery.
MPO continuously monitors key performance indicators such as lead time, on-time delivery, port dwell, demurrage, detention, and storage to identify operational issues, improve transportation performance, and control logistics costs. Through transportation management, performance reporting, and data-driven analysis, the team supports MPA's supply chain by balancing service reliability, total logistics cost, operational complexity, and PDC capacity while driving continuous network optimization.
The Senior Analyst position is responsible for resolving transportation exceptions and service disruptions, conducting operational analysis and advanced performance reporting, and supporting data integrity and transportation accounting preparation activities.
Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve transportation exceptions, service disruptions, and shipment delays.
  • Coordinate and execute recovery actions to minimize operational impact and service interruptions.
  • Analyze transportation performance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and operational risks.
  • Validate operational data integrity and correct discrepancies affecting reporting accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain advanced operational reports and analytical tools.
  • Support carrier, customer, and PDC inquiries requiring detailed operational research and resolution.
  • Identify root causes of recurring transportation issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and analysis required for transportation accounting activities.
  • Assist with KPI reporting enhancements and reporting automation initiatives.
  • Support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities for team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and operational reviews.
  • Assist with system testing and process implementation activities.

Compensation Range
