We are seeking an Analyst to join our Insurance Compliance team. This position handles the organizational and insurance compliance functions on the Post Closing team for our Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Loan Portfolios in accordance with departmental policy, procedures, and agency guidelines.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review Insurance certificates/Acord forms and policies for compliance with minimal supervision.

  • Perform comprehensive compliance reviews including blanket or aggregation analyseswith minimal supervision.

  • Review, Verify and enter specific property related insurance risk information and related insurance coverage data into servicing system meeting company guidelines for data integrity.

  • Process Insurancewaivers/exceptions/varianceswith supporting documentation for non-compliant insurance issues.

  • Regular communication with internal and external clients related to insurance payments, including research and response to requests for information and other insurance related matters.

  • Prepare and process various reports and forms related to insurance processing

  • Be familiar with Third Party Reports such as Appraisals, Property Condition Assessments, Zoning Reports and Seismic Risk Assessments.

  • Assist and/or perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in: Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or three (3) years of relevant work experience.

  • Thorough understanding of loan documentation and agency guidelines for insurance.

  • Exhibit self-motivation whether working independently or in a group.

  • Loan Servicing experience is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of loan documentation and agency guidelines for insurance.
