Job Summary:
FrankCrum Staffing is a family-owned business-to-business entity that has been recognized as a Top Workplace. They are seeking a full-time Commercial Lines Product Analyst to assist with product enhancements, state filings, system implementation, and ongoing product performance analysis, working closely with various departments to support the company's mission.
Responsibilities:
• Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of commercial lines insurance products, forms, rules, and rating plans.
• Supports product revisions and enhancements from concept through to implementation.
• Works with the Product Manager to analyze product performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Prepares recommendations for product changes based on their analysis.
• Maintains product documentation including coverage comparisons, underwriting guidelines and system requirements.
• Assists with regulatory and state filing preparation and coordination of rate, rule and form filings with state insurance departments.
• Works with internal compliance or external filing/actuarial vendors to ensure timely and accurate submission of filings.
• Tracks filing approvals, objections and implementing timelines across jurisdictions.
• Ensures approved product changes are accurately reflected in internal systems and documentation.
• Partners with IT, business analysts, and system vendors to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participates in system configuration reviews related to product changes.
• Provides assistance in prioritizing product enhancement requests and system improvements.
• Supports user acceptance testing (UAT) for system and product releases.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance, product management support, underwriting, business analysis, or a related insurance function.
Preferred:
• Experience with SERFF, preferred not required.
• Industry designations such as AINS, AU, ARM, or CPCU, preferred not required.
