Job description

We are seeking a Field Inspector for a role at Alpha Property Management's Los Angeles office. Alpha Property Management manages approximately 2500 units of conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout California.

Qualifications

  • Must have maintenance and construction experience
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
  • Property management experience is a plus
  • Must be available to rotate on-call shifts
  • Must be able to effectively multitask
  • Works well in a fast paced environment
  • Works under littler to no supervision
  • Organized
  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Time management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Inspect vacancies
  • Prepare work orders
  • Schedule work
  • Prepare/completed administrative paperwork
  • Inspect work while in progress
  • Conduct final inspections
  • Prepare final close our documents
  • Prepare resident damage charges
  • Conduct property inspections as required
  • Interact with site managers
  • Receive maintenance requests as required
  • Conduct unit inspections
  • Conduct/interact with outside contractors, agencies (fire, code enforcement, REAC, Code enforcement, etc.)
  • Additional duties as assigned in writing or verbally
