Insurance Estimator Remote information

What does an insurance estimator do when working remotely?

A remote Insurance Estimator evaluates claims and determines the cost of repairing or replacing damaged property, vehicles, or other insured items without needing to work from a central office. They review photos, videos, and documentation submitted online, communicate with clients and adjusters via email or phone, and use specialized software to prepare detailed estimates. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an insurance estimator remote?

To thrive as a remote Insurance Estimator, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in insurance, construction, or a related field, often supported by industry certifications.
