JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst & Integrations Support role transforms data into actionable insights while ensuring the systems and integrations that support those insights operate reliably. This position develops and maintains Power BI reports and dashboards, performs ad hoc analyses, and translates complex data into clear visualizations for business stakeholders. In parallel, the role supports system integrations by maintaining data connections, monitoring APIs, and troubleshooting data or integration issues to minimize business disruption. The position partners cross-functionally with Operations, IT, development teams, and business leaders to monitor performance, identify trends, and ensure accurate, dependable data across platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Analytics:
    • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
    • Create clear, actionable visualizations that communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
    • Design and implement self-service reporting solutions to enable data-driven decision making
    • Perform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support strategic initiatives
    • Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
    • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable recommendations
    • Collect, clean, and prepare data for analysis and reporting
    • Maintain advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel
    • Apply mathematical and analytical skills for complex queries, data interpretation, and problem-solving
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
    • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with business requirements
  • Integration Support:
    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve systems and integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations
    • Create, monitor, and maintain API connections for integration between internal and external systems
    • Work closely with development teams, operations, sales, service, product owners, and third-party vendors to ensure systems meet the organization's business needs
    • Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and changes
    • Monitor and optimize integration performance, including load balancing, error handling, and process automation
    • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve integration-related issues and implement new solutions
    • Regularly monitor applications and systems in production to ensure they are running smoothly and meeting performance expectations
    • Perform product setup, user management, and portfolio maintenance
    • Ensure that incidents are resolved within defined SLAs, escalating issues when necessary to meet deadlines
    • Perform or facilitate root cause analysis for significant incidents to prevent recurrence and improve system performance
    • Recommend improvements to existing processes, tools, and workflows to optimize production support efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, reporting, and/or systems integration support roles.
  • Four-year college education: in Computer Science, MIS, Operations Research, Math, Finance, or related experience.
  • Proven experience in systems integration, middleware technologies, and APIs.
  • Data analysis and collection best practices
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical subjects and processes
  • Proficiency with Power BI (report and dashboard development)
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of integration platforms and cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, PBS, Applied, Power Broker, Acturis, API, JSON, Postman).
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff/management in internal and external relationships
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of math and logic aptitude
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • May require on-call support and availability outside of regular working hours to address urgent production issues.
  • Fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines and high priority on maintaining system uptime.

The annual compensation range for this position is $68,000 - $91,000 CAD.
