We seek an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service to our policyholders. You’ll be responsible for processing insurance policy transactions and service requests with accuracy and timeliness. You will get to interact with our underwriting team, Rural agents and assistants, and customers throughout the state, answering policy related inquires in a professional manner. Compensation:

$50,000 - $55,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Process policy transactions by reviewing our insurance Product Line's new business, changes, and renewals based on established guidelines.
  • Accurately complete service requests, including entering information into the appropriate computer system in a timely manner.
  • Work with the underwriting staff to resolve coverage questions.
  • Answer Inquiries from Agents, Agent Assistants, Customers, and 3rd parties regarding policy or billing via various channels and respond accurately, promptly, and in a professional manner.
  • Maintain an acceptable productivity and quality level by working with your manager to understand processes and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Two years or more of office experience; property and casualty insurance experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient PC skills, including accurate and speedy keyboarding.
  • Understands how to utilize a database for processing client information and how to use Microsoft Office to create necessary documents.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone skills.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • A team player with proven customer service experience.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Participation in industry-related programs such as IIA, CISR, CIC, etc., is preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Hmong, etc.) are a plus.
  • Candidate must live and work in Wisconsin.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
