Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, is seeking litigation attorneys in one of its Southern California offices (San Diego, Carlsbad, or Ontario). There is also the option of working remotely. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in litigating insurance coverage and extra contractual cases, and we welcome all experience levels to apply. We offer flexible options for successful candidates, including hybrid opportunities.
Candidates should have experience with litigation involving California first and third-party property and casualty insurance coverage, professional liability, UIM/UM coverage, life, health and disability matters, and bad faith litigation. The position involves engagement in complex litigation in both state and federal court and an opportunity for professional development.
Candidates must be self-starters who are able to manage their own litigation, formulate and implement a discovery plan including taking and defending depositions, evaluate potential insurance liability exposures, prepare case assessments and evaluations, and balance their time between several matters while producing consistently good work product. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, proven skills in writing, research and litigation experience.
Candidates must be licensed to practice in California.

As a national firm with a diverse and flexible workforce, including remote roles, alternative work arrangements, and contract opportunities throughout the country, our compensation structure reflects the wide range of career paths available within our platform. Our current national base salary ranges are:
  • Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000-$165,000;
  • Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000-$215,000;
  • Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000-$275,000+.

Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
