OFFICE COORDINATOR
Laney Companies, located in Eldersburg, MD, is seeking an organized and professional Office Coordinator to perform a variety of administrative and operational duties, including a variety of duties including accounting & payroll support, and dispatching.
To be successful as an office coordinator you must be detail-oriented and manage your time efficiently so that office operations run smoothly.  
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage financial tasks, including invoices, collections, accounts payable, and payment processing.
Prepare driver payroll information for submission to the payroll department.
Review and approve weekly employee time cards.
Maintain organized files and records using effective filing systems.
Track driver expenses, including tolls, fuel, and related costs.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries as needed.
Assist with dispatching duties 
Apply basic marketing knowledge when needed
Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
Maintain knowledge of DOT regulations; prior knowledge preferred.
Work independently while managing priorities and daily responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and remain productive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Experience with digital file management systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
SALARY/HOURLY EXEMPTION:
Full-Time, Exempt Position
