UACHS seeks a NJ-certified computer teacher to teach general micro-computing (MS Office/GoogleSuite, etc.) and website design. Successful candidates will be expected to foster a dynamic student-centered classroom through engaging and rigorous instruction in any learning setting that develops students' critical thinking and helps them make connections between their learning in school and its application in the outside world. Classes are capped at 20 students per class to enable teachers to give students individual attention, effectively differentiate instruction, and use data to track student progress. Position begins immediately for remainder of 25-26 SY, with opportunity for renewal.
Must have NJ Teacher of Computer Science and/or Business: Computer Applications and Business-Related Information Technology certification or certificate of eligibility. Please send a screenshot of current certifications from the NJDOE website. Out-of-state candidates must have their NJ certification in-process and submit a screenshot of its status from the NJDOE website. Successful candidates must live in New Jersey or be in the process of moving to NJ.
