• Communicate effectively with medical providers to report on client progress, treatment needs, and any emerging issues that may affect client care.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of clinical and progress notes in accordance with departmental guidelines and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment and discharge plans informed by psychosocial assessments and best practice interventions.
• Provide individual and family counseling, including crisis intervention and support during acute emotional distress.
• Engage with clients' families or support systems, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment planning and continuity of care.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Safe Ground Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with adults, children, and families facing diverse mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in supporting clients with relational dynamics, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. By conducting thorough assessments and employing tailored therapeutic strategies, you will facilitate positive transformations and improved overall mental well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted LMFT licensure in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing outpatient therapy services is essential.
• Strong capabilities for independent work, self-motivation, and exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite, and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is mandatory, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, family systems theory, or clinical supervision will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is a plus.

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based salary adjustments. In addition to the salary, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
