Job Description

The Claims Specialist is primarily involved in providing technical expertise to our clients for the full process of an insurance claim from reporting to resolution.  Included in the daily duties are reviewing and interpreting commercial policies, monitoring the reporting and resolution process, performing claims reviews, and supporting a wide variety of influential customers.

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of 4 years work experience in handling, processing and advising customers regarding the processing of complex commercial insurance claims.  A valid Georgia P&C license is an absolute must. 

In addition all of the following are requirements:

  • A high level of service orientation towards internal and external customers
  • Ability to work within a team based environment
  • High level of reasoning ability, task prioritization and initiative
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate, able to independently find and use required information.  Experience with an Agency Management System is a plus
