Sunrise Services, Inc. is looking for an Admin Clerk to join our team!

Greet and provide good customer support to callers, clients, vendors, and others.Schedule appointments, assemble and maintain charts, and perform other administrative functionsinsupportofclinicians and prescribers.Ensurequality data integrity, data security, and accurate data entry by adhering to establishedSunrise Community Mental Health (SCMH) policiesand procedures within the administrative and data functions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Greet all clientsand visitorsin a positive and respectful manner in person and on the telephone.

    • Adviseclinicians,prescribersand other staffofthearrival ofclients and visitors.

    • Transfer client and other calls promptly to clinicians,prescribersand other staff.

    • Ensure sign-in and security procedures are correctly implemented.

    • Performadministrative functions related to client intake and continuation of services: client registration, appointment scheduling,and chart creation.

    • Enter appointments intodatabaseas needed.

    • Enter all new clients intoSCMHdatabase, following established procedures.

    • Schedule client appointments, coordinate prescriber schedules,andfacilitateprescriber requests for support as assigned.

    • Arrange intake appointments for new clients referred by Volunteers of America (VoA) Access Line and process all administrative functions related to client intake.

    • Create andmaintaincharts fornew andactive clients,and review for completeness.

    • Performaccuratedata entry and scanning using established quality management guidelines.

    • Distribute incoming mail and faxes to SCMH staff.

    • Process and produce reports(NSMHA,WAMed, Query)asrequiredwithin specified dates and timelines.

    • Supportclinicians and prescribersaspossible, andassistwith problem-solving to respond to urgent client needs.

    • Confirm Medicaid eligibility of clients.

    • Produce copies of medical coupons.

    • Coordinate with Provider One andinsurance companies.

Education/Experience (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities,Education, and Experience):

  • Education:Highschool diploma or equivalent.

    Experience:Prefermedical office experience including medicaldata entry.

    Licensure/Certification:Not applicable.

    Other Considerations:

      • DSHS background clearancerequired.

      • Basic MicrosoftOffice Suite skills required.Intermediate MicrosoftOffice skills preferred.

      • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other applicable statues,or the ability and willingness to learn regulatory guidelines.

      • Knowledge of medical coding as well as basic medical terminology.

      • Exercise strict confidentiality in the performance of daily tasks.

      • Communicate effectively verballyand in writing.

      • Adhere to professional and ethical standards of practice.

      • Possess chart review skills, andquickly and accurately review new patient charts for completeness.

      • Knowledge of protocols of the NSMHAin regards torecord keeping,or the ability and willingness to learn and then adhere to the protocols.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Compensation:

  • $20.77 - $22.70/hr
  • Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.
