Sunrise Services, Inc. is currently seeking anInterim Mental Health Clinical Director!

This is anon-site position and requires in-person work at one of our clinic locations (Mount Vernon, Oak Harbor, Bellingham, Everett, or Mountlake Terrace).

About the Program:

At Sunrise Services we believe in the integration of services to treat the whole person. Our Behavioral Health program provides a wide-range of outpatient behavioral health care services to address patient needs; whether it be substance use, depression or anxiety, the first stages of dementia, or more acute, severe mental illness.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ManageClinicalSupervisors.Interview, hire, orient, train, assign, evaluate, and manageperformance.
  • Manage outpatient clinical treatment, emphasizing a positive approach that promotes self-directed care, respect, recovery, and hope.
  • Developappropriate shortterm andlong termobjectives, strategies,and standardsforBehavioralHealth clinical operations.
  • Identifyand directstaff training forclinicians,Clinical Supervisors and Directors.
  • Coordinateand direct maintenance ofservices with community and regulatory agencies such asNorth Sound Mental Health Administration (NSMHA), WashingtonState Department of Social and Health Services, (DSHS),county government agencies,the courts, and others.
  • Work with BH Executive Administrator, and Associate Director to develop and ensure new services are in line with DSHS, NSMAH, and other governmentagenciesrules and regulations.
  • Be responsible forthe implementation ofthe newservices.Analyze the contract requirementsto conceptualize systems for continuously meeting those obligations.
  • Perform,manage, and/or delegatethe design aspectsof new systemsincluding staffing levels, credentials, methods,trainingand performance managementstandards.
  • Direct and conduct clinical assessments asneeded,andprovide direct clinical treatment and support services to clients.Monitor and document client's response to clinical interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation by phone as needed.
  • Direct, coordinate, attend, andparticipatein psychiatric consultations, as necessary.

Requirements: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)

  • Education:Master'sdegree in behavioral science or relatedfield;and meet educational and training requirements for designation as a Mental Health Professional.

  • Experience: Five years of experience in a Behavioral Health Care setting, including supervisory and/or management experience in a mental health setting, andsignificant experiencewith adults with persistent and complex mental health issues.Experience working with adults who have chemical dependency issues.

  • Licensure/Certification:WashingtonState LMHC,LMFT,LICSWor equivalentrequired.

  • Other Considerations:

  • DSHS background clearancerequired.

  • Current valid Washington State Driver's License.

  • Skill using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.

  • Strong verbal and written communicationskills, anddemonstrated leadership ability.

  • Flexible. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in challenging dynamicsituationsincluding behavioral and staffing issues.

  • Skill in reading, synthesizing, and acting upon multifaceted information.

Compensation:

  • $95,000 - $112,000/yr
  • All wages depend on applicable experience, license, and education.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
