THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Renewal Insurance Carrier Services (ICS) Representative is responsible for managing all carrier-facing tasks related to the renewal process. Working behind the scenes, this role supports the Account Management team by ensuring that all applications are completed, submitted, and quoted accurately and on time. ICS Representatives play a critical role in maintaining strong carrier relationships, understanding underwriting guidelines, and aligning submissions with current market appetite. They work in close collaboration with Account Managers to ensure proper marketing and placement of renewal accounts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete and submit renewal applications to carriers in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Request and organize loss history reports, policy documents, and any required underwriting information.

  • Review and confirm accuracy of all carrier quotes prior to delivery to Account Managers.

  • Proactively track deadlines and ensure quotes are received by the Account Manager's specified need-by date.

  • Negotiate coverage terms and pricing withunderwriterswhen necessary, under the direction of the Account Manager.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carrier appetite, underwriting criteria, and product offerings specific to the HOA space.

  • Foster strong relationships with carrier partners and act as a primary point of contact for renewal marketing communications.

  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers to determine the most strategic marketing approach for each renewal account.

  • Maintain organized documentation of submissions, quotes, and communications within the agency's management system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School / GED

  • 1-2 years insurance industry experience or equivalent combination of education & experience

The expected salary range for this position is $24-$28/hr depending on geographical location and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
