Job description

We are excited to announce that we are looking to add a Service Coordinator to our team!

This position requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will work with our authorizations department to obtain approvals from health insurance companies for provider-ordered services, including medical imaging, testing, surgery, and injectable medications. Key responsibilities include answering phone calls, obtaining authorizations, communicating with patients and physicians, collecting balances or copays, and utilizing various clinical applications.

In this role, you will work directly alongside our medical staff to facilitate the highest quality care for our patients. Please see below for the specific qualifications and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with surgery scheduling
  • Experience with Nevada insurance verification and benefits is preferred
  • Insurance authorization experience
  • Must have good computer skills - EMR knowledge; ModMed knowledge is a plus
  • Must be flexible and reliable in regard to schedule and location
  • Work along side other medical staff

Other requirements:

  • Be able to use a computer 7+ hours a day
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual is a plus
