SCHEDULE: 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. EST
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Valuation Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the development and management of non-traditional appraisal and property valuation products. This position is responsible for overseeing alternative product workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality appraisals and property condition reports. The specialist will also drive innovation by exploring new valuation products and ensuring smooth adoption by internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Tasks:
  • Product Management: Oversee the lifecycle of alternative valuation products, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (USPAP) and client-specific requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the QC team to provide feedback on product performance and improvements.
  • Training amp; Development: Facilitate training sessions, webinars, and documentation to educate teams on alternative products and technologies.
  • Innovation Support: Participate in developing and supporting new valuation initiatives and technologies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all alternative products meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and appraisers to enhance product offerings and resolve operational challenges.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and relay feedback from field providers and clients to drive continuous improvement.
  • Technology Adaptation: Assist in deploying new technologies related to alternative products, ensuring effective implementation and user adoption.
  • Regular attendance is a requirement.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in appraisal, valuation, or real estate; experience with alternative products preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SaaS and appraisal management platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Problem Solving: Creative and proactive in addressing product and operational challenges.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving responsibilities.
