What You'll Do
- Ability to work on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factorsÂ
- Support Product Management by accurately creating, preparing and maintaining ad hoc, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and dashboards to monitor performance of JM Group products and initiativesÂ
- Schedules and submits filing of new or revised forms/rates/rules with the appropriate regulatory agencies, using industry tools to determine current filing requirements for each state.  Â
- Works with forms, product, and other specialists as needed to construct filing transmittal forms, memorandums, supporting documentation, and exhibits. Â
- Monitor marketplace for emerging opportunities, risks/issues; as well as performance and actions of direct competitorsÂ
- Proactively analyzing data and identifying trends, areas of opportunity, and presenting findings to Product ManagementÂ
- Present and support recommendations for enhancements/restrictions for JMSI, JMIC and/or General Agency products (new and existing)Â
- Ability to query data via creation of queries leveraging existing queries, as well as from scratchÂ
- Participate in testing and QA work of: (i) changes to organizational data structure, (ii) products enhancements, and (iii) new productsÂ
- Draft form language, create/manage SERFF filings, and assist with the review of circulars/state regulatory updatesÂ
- Assist in updating and pre-deployment verification of JMIC rating tables and algorithmsÂ
- Represent or lead the department and company on projects and committees as assignedÂ

Minimum Qualifications Â
- Associate or bachelor’s degree requiredÂ
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered)Â
- Minimum of 1 year Property & Casualty insurance background experience Â
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint), particularly with data manipulation and pivot tablesÂ
- Experience with PowerPivot, SQL, PowerBI, and/or other query/reporting skillsÂ
- Strong analytical skills;Â ability to identify and translate data into actionable opportunitiesÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Â
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy forms, technical procedures, government regulations, and financial reports Â
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to work autonomously and build relationships across levels Â
- Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills Â
