Come join the growing team at Morgan Insurance Services as a Personal Lines Insurance Agent!

We are looking for personal lines insurance agents to work with our Morgan Insurance Service teams in our Tampa Bay locations. We are part of Morgan Auto Group with over 70 auto dealerships in Florida. As part of our team of trusted advisors, you will help customers by providing the best products and services to protect them from life’s uncertainties. Our comprehensive auto and property insurance training will allow you to create a seamless experience while selling and servicing a broad customer base in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Solicit new insurance business in store and / or working mass marketing lists, personal referrals and cross sell
  • Assist customers in making insurance decisions by carefully matching needs with optimal products and services
  • Maintain compliance through accurate trailing documentation in agency systems and tracking of activity
  • Must follow through completely with the sales process, from verification/quote through underwriting documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Remain current on products and processes in a multi-product and multi-carrier environment
  • Meet monthly sales and performance goals

Qualifications:

  • Must be dedicated, competent, confident self-starter who can work independently and on a team; a people person
  • Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong, swift computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with multi-rater software or insurance industry CRM's a plus
  • Must be at ease creating a relationship from a cold start in person
  • Willingness to learn and be coachable
  • In person position. Dealership hours
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred /High School Diploma required
  • Florida 220 or 20-44 insurance license
