Job description

The Agent Development Program is designed to develop motivated individuals into successful insurance agents. Trainees will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and product education to learn the fundamentals of insurance sales, customer service, and compliance. This role provides a structured pathway to a full-time Agent position upon successful completion of the training program.


The ideal candidate is goal-driven, eager to learn, and passionate about helping clients protect their assets and achieve financial security.

Responsibilities

Training Development

Participate in a structured training program focused on insurance products, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.

Sales Support Client Engagement

Assist senior agents with client outreach, quoting, and policy reviews.

Shadow experienced producers during client meetings and observe best practices in consultative selling.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance preferred.

Licensing

Must be able to obtain applicable Missouri insurance licenses prior to starting role (Property Casualty license as well as the Life, Health, and Accident license)

Licensing exam preparation assistance may be provided

Experience

No prior insurance experience required; previous experience in sales, customer service, or finance is a plus.
