Job description

Job Title: Service Advisor Trainee
Location: Nelson Mazda Murfreesboro
Schedule: 5-Day Work Week

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor Trainee. In this role, you will learn the essential functions of a Service Advisor, acting as a liaison between customers and our service team. You will ensure that customers receive outstanding service and care, while also helping to manage service operations efficiently. This is an entry-level role with room for career advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in understanding their vehicle’s service needs, ensuring clear communication between customers and technicians
  • Develop knowledge of service processes, repair orders, and vehicle maintenance
  • Learn to prepare accurate cost estimates for vehicle repairs and services
  • Facilitate customer appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service scheduling
  • Communicate service updates to customers in a clear and friendly manner
  • Handle customer concerns and issues, working to resolve them in a professional manner
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and warranties
  • Assist with customer follow-ups and service reminders
  • Provide exceptional customer service while fostering a positive work environment

Qualifications:

  • College education preferred but not required: further education in automotive, customer service, or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
