SUMMIT Appliance (www.summitappliance.com), a Division of Felix Storch, Inc. is a 57-year-old private business, located in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx. We are a manufacturer and distributor of major appliances, including vaccine, healthcare and life science refrigeration. We are seeking an individual to bridge our dynamic marketing, sales and customer order management teams and help manage key accounts. Some problem solving of customer issues is part of the job.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with email and mail campaigns to increase sales from small and inactive customers.
  • Communicate with professional and business desks at national retailers to educate them our products? advantages.
  • Assist with the introduction of new product categories
  • Follow-up on delayed customer shipments to ensure delivery
  • Undertake account management responsibilities for new accounts
  • Checking stock and communicating where necessary with our customers or our sales team
  • Research problems and customer inquiries
  • Handling customer inquiries on shipping status via phone or email
  • Help with inbound calls and emails and generally help expedite our transactional business.
  • Assist Account Managers with backup coverage while they travel

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field or a two-year degree with equivalent training or experience
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of organization
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and Google docs
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well with other staff and interact with other departments and management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Email mastery is essential.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Politeness, confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems.
