Job description
- Review and become familiar with the project drawings and specifications, project contract requirements, and the overall project schedule.
- Create estimates for project budget and bid numbers.
- Develop timeline of labor and material/equipment deliveries and allocation for the project.
- Manage multiple projects and/or multiple trade disciplines (mechanical, sheet metal, plumbing, electrical, insulation, etc.) as determined by the project(s).
- Manage material, equipment costs, and labor allocations while maintaining quality and project schedule.
- Manage changes in project scope and costs, and prepare change order estimates, change order requests, and track changes to final execution.
- Prepare monthly client billings.
Education & Training
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- College degree, preferred
Skills & Experience
- 5 years of practical MEP construction project knowledge
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of:
- Construction Sequencing
- MEP systems and how to make them operational
- Rigging and equipment moving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Valid driver's license is required
