Role Summary

PTW is seeking local Journeyman Instrumentationto join our team in Whitecourt, AB. This role involves construction and maintenance instrumentation work on industrial projects in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting instrumentation systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation systems and equipment
  • Perform construction and maintenance instrumentation work on industrial projects
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations
  • Complete required job documentation, reports, and maintenance records accurately
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, project teams, and other trades
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Must be an indentured Instrumentation Apprentice or certified Journeyman
  • Construction and maintenance instrumentation experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Reliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
  • Valid safety certifications required:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
