Job Summary: We seek an individual passionate about teaching and invested in student success. If you desire to make a difference in the lives of undergraduate students, we invite you to apply for an adjunct faculty position in Philosophy. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue in order to fill positions as needed each semester. Scope: The Department of English, Philosophy & Religion in the Getty College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for a part-time, adjunct faculty position in Philosophy. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of Philosophy will be considered. Principal Responsibilities This individual will serve as the instructor of record for professional ethics, philosophy and film, or other courses as assigned. Typical assignments include one or two courses each semester, depending on student demand. Questions concerning the position should be directed to the Department Chair, Dr. Douglas Dowland (d-dowland@onu.edu).
